August of 1996 a dog was lost or dropped off in front of our home.  I received a call from my wife earlier that day asking “what should I do with the lost dog”.  I said to leave the dog outside because the owners may be searching the neighbourhood.  About six hours later when I returned home the little black, grey, white curly haired dog was still pacing back and forth in front of our house.  This was the beginning of our “Dog” years.  Until this time we only had cats as apart of our family and home.  After weeks of ads and flyers we finally came to our conclusion and began thinking of a name for our newest family member.  Without hesitation “Lucky” came to my mind because she was a lucky dog to have passed our front steps.  She came to us fully trained so the reality of the whole situation was that we were the lucky ones.  Being an older dog, Lucky was in need of some dental work and thanks to our good Vet she was in good hands.  Lucky was apart of the family for 7 more loving years until her passing.  She was loved by friends, family and everyone that she touched.  Our hearts were broken.  After a year of grieving my wife came to me and decided it was time to move forward and add another puppy to our family.  Dusty came into our lives and has been a wonderful and loving member of the family.  If we are able to bring a small amount of the love that we have had with both Lucky and now Dusty.  I can’t think of a better way to spread some love and happiness then with these beautiful puppies.  Enjoy!!                                                                                                       Wayne…
